Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Main collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Main is the controller of the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

Account details such as your name, email address and password; delivery and billing addresses; phone number if you provide one; your orders, returns and payment status; messages you send us; and product reviews you write. We also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, mainly through cookies.

We do not store your full payment card details. Card payments go directly to our payment provider.

3. Why we use it

To take and deliver your orders, process payments and refunds, and handle returns and support, because that is necessary to perform our contract with you. To keep accounts and the website secure and prevent fraud, and to keep accounting records the law requires us to keep, because of our legitimate interests and legal obligations. To send you marketing emails only if you have signed up for them, based on your consent.

4. Who we share it with

Only service providers acting for us and only what they need: payment providers, delivery carriers, email and hosting providers, and analytics providers where you have accepted analytics cookies. We disclose data to authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your basket. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter we ask you to confirm your address first. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also change your preference in your account.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your data protection authority. You can review and change much of your data yourself in your account.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong, unique password.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data we will update this page and, for significant changes, tell you directly.

11. Contact

To exercise your rights or ask a question, use the details on our contact page.
